Understanding Odds Formats at any8
Before you start betting, it helps to understand the odds formats available. any8 offers several formats commonly used by Malaysian players.
Malay Odds
The most popular format among Southeast Asian players. Positive odds represent profit per RM1, while negative odds show how much needs to be staked to win RM1.
Decimal Odds
A straightforward format — multiply your stake by the odds number to get the total return including your original stake. Useful for quick calculations.
Asian Handicap
Handicap markets level the playing field by giving a goal advantage to the weaker team. This reduces the chance of a draw result and offers better odds value.
Over / Under
A goals total market — you bet on whether the total goals in a match will be above or below a set line. Works well for high-profile matches.
Mix Parlay — Combine Multiple Selections
Mix parlay lets you combine two or more bet selections from different matches into a single ticket. The odds of each selection are multiplied together — meaning the potential return is much higher from the same stake.
This approach is popular among players following several leagues at the same time, such as combining matches from the Malaysia Super League, EPL and La Liga on one ticket. Keep in mind that all selections must win to receive a full payout.

-

Mix parlay offers the chance of a larger return, but the risk is also higher because all selections need to be correct. Set your budget in advance and bet responsibly.
